It is my pleasure, as Principal of Scoil Aodán Naofa, to welcome you to our school website. We are a happy, busy and welcoming school at the heart of the Carnew community. We are proud of the warm and caring atmosphere in our school, where every child is valued, included and encouraged to be their very best.

Our school motto, 'Is ualach éadrom foghlaim', means 'Learning is a light burden to carry'. We believe that school should be a place where children feel happy, safe and excited to learn. We are fortunate to have a wonderful team of dedicated staff and a supportive school community. By working together with parents, we aim to give every child the best possible start in life.

I hope our website gives you a little insight into life at Scoil Aodán Naofa. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to find out more about our school.
